We were fortunate to catch up with Rachel Baumel, an attorney, mediator, and a small business owner, who shared her incredible journey and insights. Diagnosed in 2017, Rachel’s battle with breast cancer was a pivotal moment. Despite facing surgeries and treatments, she emerged stronger and more balanced. Rachel’s venture, Sleep Again Pillows, emerged from her personal journey. In November 2017, Rachel had a double mastectomy, and created a pillow system to help her sleep and heal. She used the pillow system for a total of 4 surgeries within that year and then started lending it out to people and that is how Sleep Again Pillows was started! The pillows are fully supportive, thoughtfully designed, and are able to help anyone who is required to sleep on their back following surgery. Focused on providing comfort and healing post-surgery, this venture reflects her commitment to making a positive impact. Her desire to fill gaps in the market with purpose-driven solutions defines her entrepreneurial spirit.
