I’m Elissa. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in July of 2021, at the age of 34, and just a few days before my daughter’s first birthday. I was overwhelmed with the love and support of family and friends who reached out asking what they could do and how they could help. It meant the world to me, but I realized — I had no idea how they could help. I had never been through any of this before!
I thought to myself: what if there was something like a wedding or baby registry that could offer all of the things a patient needs.
In July of last year, we launched the first ever Nonprofit Gift Registry for Cancer Patients!
Quality of life is important no matter what kind of treatment you’re going through, and WeGotThis.org is here to make sure it’s easier to be a thriver by building a community of giving and receiving.
